Loris Looks To 2020 After Consistent 2019
The 2019 FIM Supersport World Championship may have only finished a week ago but for talented young Belgian rider Loris Cresson, preparations for a 2020 assault are already well under way.
Loris, who competed for Kallio Racing for the past two seasons, has failed to finish in only five races in the last twenty-four making him one of the most consistent point scoring riders in WorldSSP. With several top ten results under his belt this season in World Supersport, (at the season opener in Australia, Thailand and in Portugal), the #84 achieved a run of seven consecutive point scoring races at the start of the year! Loris also impressed many on his FIM Endurance World Championship debut, where he outperformed many seasoned Superbike riders.
As the season drew to a close he launched a new website www.loriscresson.com which will undergo an upgrade for 2020 that will include multi-language options. He will also reveal his new logo.
“The season wasn’t like I expected it to be but that’s racing, and we have to take the positives and move forward. We were able to finish three times inside the top ten, twice ninth, and even when the bike wasn’t exactly as I wanted, we were able to score decent World Championship points. I learned a lot mentally this year, and this I am sure that will stand me in good stead for 2020! I tried a lot with my riding style throughout the year and this too will all help for the future. I am fully focused on the year ahead, excited to work with a new team and cannot wait for the news to be made public at EICMA. It will be a new adventure and I am already back in training to ensure I am in the best physical condition for Australia. Thank you to all my sponsors and everyone who supports me and thanks too to Kallio Racing for the last two years.”
